It was school, and all the students bustled into the classroom

Everyone groaned as the teacher announced this apart from a quiet girl named Yuki.

Yuki always read during class.She never spoke to anyone. If she did, she has a quiet soft voice. Yuki was never nervous, or scared, her face was in the same emotion: Calm.


"Right, today we're readinga story. We're learning about myths and legends, and heres one about a witch called Nagato." The teacher said

Everyone groaned, thinking its about a fairytale

"Nagato is a mage witch, who is always cloaked, and weras a pointy witch hat. She is involved in a japanese legend, and some people today are still afraid of her. Right, Charlie?" The teacher joked, meaning Charlie the nerd

Everyone laughed apart from Yuki.

"Nagato is the most evil legend there is, apprently, but rest assured, she isnt real."

Yuki shook her head. She believed in Nagato . Thats was because she knew nagato was real.


She knew who Nagato was..

Newt sighed.
Another day of boring class.
He hated fairytales...
It just wasn't...
Real..
He flipped his blonde hair from his blue eyes, by accident raising his hand.
"Newt! Is there something you want to say?"
everyone turned in their seats to look at him, Dwayne blushed, sinking in his seat.
"No miss... Just scratching my head."
People laughed.
He sighed, feeling umcomfortable.
"Very well, Newt."
She smiled and continued to tell them about Nagato.
Newt couldn't help looking at Yuki.
He sighed, she had been his crush ever since he moved two weeks ago to this school.
He was too scared to wonder up and talk to her.
He yawned.
"Is this BORING you, Newt?"
Newt sighed as everyone turned again.
"No miss."

Layla sat in her desk, she hid a book in her lap, making sure the teacher did not see the book.

She tossed a note towards Kai.

Kai, boring, isn't it! Layla smiled. Her best friend, Fayea smiled, and waved to her, gentley.

Kai was the hottest guy in class. He was smooth, quiet and he played the guitar, What was there not to like about him? The best part is, he is my brother. He' sweet, cute, kind, logical, smart, and everything!

Newt waited...
He waited.
Come on bell.. RING!
He thought.
"Oh dear.. We will finish this off next time."
She said as the bell rung.
everyone charged out before Newt.
Newt packed up slowly, he hated it..
Being alone....
Newt took his messenger back and walked out.
He looked at the people in groups and sighed, sitting on a bench.
He just sat and looked around the playground.
Being new was horrible.. You're like a misfit. In the world.
He saw Yuki and shook his head.

Layla closed her eyes. She was about to walk out, but she stumbeled across Newt. Before she had a chance, she quickley said,
"Your the new guy, right? I'm new too." Layla smiled. She gathered her books together. Kai walked pass, attempting to run away from some girls.
"Hi Lay, Bye Lay!" He said.

Newt smiled slightly, flipping his blonde hair from his eyes.
"Sorry..... Name's Newt, what's yours?"
He asked politely, getting off the bench, bending over to help her.
He saw the boy run past and he rolled his eyes sligjtly.
I hate boys like that.
He thought.

Layla smiled, taking Newt's hand and getting up.
"I'm Layla. That was my brother Kai. Layla and Kai Starr." Layla smiled (xDDD)
"It's hard being new. Kai fit in easily, though. Noone cares about me. I'm the backgrounder." Layla sighed.
Finally! Someone exactly like me! Layla thought.

Newt nodded.
"Me too... I know how you feel."
He said, shaking her hand with his, tanned soft one.
He blinked.
"That was your brother, huh? I'd be pretty annoyed."
He smiled slightly.
"Wanna go get lunch? Me and you?"
He hoped it didn't sound like a date!

Layla smiled.
"Sure. Kai isn't annoying, but if he is chased by girls, he is!" Layla smiled. She paused. "Sure, What time?" She said, sounding causual.

Newt blinked.
"Uhh. Lunch time?"
He said, smirking.

Nikki dumped the dirty dishes into the sink that she thaught more of as a tub. She walked back to the table she had cleaned up to get off some of the dirty spots. She then took the reciept and money and put them on the counter, taking the tip the costomers had left for her. $1.00. It was better than nothing.
She then walked back to the kitchen, getting a new pen and walking to a different table.
She put a coin despencer on her apron and sighed, a string of brown hair loose from her ponytail, "Hi my name is Nikki and I'll be your w-" She froze as she saw Newt and Layla sitting in the table. Her eyes were on Newt.
What seemed like a wave of memory sped through her head, making her blink hardly and put her hand to her head. "Waitress." She smiled warmly at the two, "Sorry about that. Huge headache. Gone now." She rolled her eyes.
"Like I said, " she continued, "I will be your server today. Do you two already know what you'd like to drink right now?" She put the pen on her notepad, ready to scroll down whatever drink they said that came from they mentined from teh menue the Manager had set down.

Newt blinked.
"Huh...... Oh! Coke for me...."
Layla ordered lemonade.
He yawned.
He looked at Nikki through his blonde hair.
Did he know her?
He felt like he did...
Ahh well.. Must be one of those days.
He smiled, blue eyes twinkling slightly.
"Thanks... For the waiting you're gonna do!"
He chuckled slightly, but realised no one laughed.
So he cleared his throat, looking at the floor.

Scrolled the orders down on the paper and nodded once.
She then laughed from what Newt had said.
Her extremely dark emerald eyes seemed full of secrets as she spoke in a velvet tone, "Alright, I'll be back with your orders." She smiled warmly as she started walking back.
She knew,
right then when she had that so called, "Headache",
she knew.
And she was glad.
She found him.

Newt was glad she was being patient.
He watched her leave from the table and he spoke to Layla, smiling and doing gestures.
"Oh... My mum's in supreme court."
"My dad's something or other.. I forget the name. But I'm Newt Livingstone the third. I don't really care. They just want me to be nerdy and all that. It's gross."

Nikki collapsed right when the door shut, pictures, voices, words, messages zoomed through her head.
The cook scrunched his eyebrows together, "Again?"
She nodded, rubbing her temples.
A few seconds later the cook took her by the hand and helped her up, "Might wanna get up before Boss sees ya."
Nikki nodded, "Thanks." She poured ice into two cups and filled them with Coke and lemonade.
She walked out with the cups in her hands and set them on the table, smiling, "Here you go."
She put her hands inher pockets, slightly touching the notepad and pen, "You guys know what to order now or should I come back?"
